Strip AI-generation metadata and EXIF from your images, 100% on your Mac. Nothing is ever uploaded.
Honest about what metadata removal can and can't do: stripping metadata removes the tags that label an image as AI-generated (C2PA / Content Credentials, generation parameters, tool signatures). It cannot remove Google SynthID or pixel-level / statistical fingerprints baked into the image itself. This app does not, and cannot, make an AI image "undetectable." We'd rather tell you that up front.

The web tool processes on our server. The app processes entirely on your Mac, so your images never leave your machine. That's the point for sensitive photos.
📁 Bulk & folders (Pro)
Drop a whole folder and clean everything inside it, including subfolders, in one pass. Non-destructive by default: your originals stay untouched and each cleaned copy is saved alongside it with a _no_ai_metadata suffix (or _no_metadata in Remove-All mode). An optional Overwrite-originals mode cleans in place.

Two cleaning modes
- Remove AI metadata (recommended): strips C2PA / JUMBF Content Credentials, PNG generation parameters, AI XMP tags (prompt, sampler, steps, CFG, LoRA…) and CBOR claims, while preserving your camera EXIF, GPS, copyright, and color profile.
- Remove all metadata: a full wipe (
-all=) for maximum privacy. Removes EXIF, GPS, IPTC, maker notes, everything.

FAQ
Does it upload my images anywhere?
No. All processing happens locally on your Mac. The app needs no internet connection to clean files.
Will it make my AI image undetectable?
No. See the note above. It removes metadata tags, not SynthID or statistical fingerprints. Use it for privacy and clean sharing, not to defeat AI detectors.
Is my camera EXIF / GPS safe in AI-only mode?
Yes. AI-only mode targets generation metadata and preserves your camera EXIF, GPS, copyright, and color profile. Use "Remove all" if you want everything gone.
What file types are supported?
